These Terms of Use govern the use of the platform vip-websc.org (hereinafter referred to as "the Platform"), operated by the site owner (see imprint/legal notice). By registering, users agree to these terms.

2. Access and Use of the Platform
The platform allows registered users to listen to music, post comments, and interact with content via like/dislike features.

Upon request and approval of an Artist Account ("Pro Function"), users can access the integrated music generator and publish their generated tracks through the platform.
Uploading external music files is currently disabled, due to previous misuse involving copyrighted or GEMA-relevant content.

3. Music Creation and Publishing
Music creation is done exclusively via the provided generation tool. Content may be published on the platform as long as it does not violate the rights of third parties or these terms.

Users agree not to create or distribute illegal, offensive, discriminatory, or extremist content. This applies explicitly to musical works as well.

4. Community Rules and Conduct
Respectful interaction is the foundation of this community. The following is strictly prohibited:

• Insults, threats, or discrimination

• Hate speech, incitement to violence, or political extremism

• Publishing offensive or harmful musical content

• Spam, commercial misuse, or manipulation of the credit system

These rules apply to comments, music, and all other content.

5. Monetization and Credit System
The platform allows users to earn credits through specific actions. These credits can be used for in-app features, such as generating new music.
Additionally, artists may sell their music via the platform. The platform may retain a commission, as specified in the current fee overview.

Misuse or manipulation of this system (e.g. through fake purchases or spam uploads) is strictly prohibited.

6. Usage Rights and Promotion
By publishing content on the platform, users grant the operator a non-exclusive right to use the music for platform-related purposes. This includes:

• Featuring songs in playlists or embeddable music players on partner pages

• Inclusion in an internal radio station or public listening tools

• Promoting user content as part of the platform's marketing efforts

Copyright remains with the original artists. Any extended commercial use requires the artist’s explicit consent.

7. Data Privacy and Processing
The platform processes only the data necessary to provide its services. See our Privacy Policy for full details. User data is handled responsibly and only as required by law.

8. Disclaimer of Liability
The platform is operated to the best of the operator's ability, but availability is not guaranteed at all times.
User-generated content does not reflect the opinion of the platform. The operator assumes no responsibility for third-party content or linked websites.

9. Copyright and Prohibited Content
Users retain all copyrights to their own creations. By uploading or publishing content, they grant the platform a simple license to display it internally.
Strictly prohibited are:

• Illegal content of any kind

• File sharing without authorization

• Uploads or generation of protected material without license or consent

10. Deletion of Content and Accounts
Users may delete their content and account at any time. The operator reserves the right to remove content or block accounts in case of violations of these terms.

11. Amendments to the Terms of Use
The operator may update these terms as needed. Users will be informed of significant changes. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
